Hi! If you are seeing this, you might as well be on another planet or at least the end of the internet...
If you are wondering the purpose of this website, well, you are probably just as lost as me.
The initial goal was to create a blog, I had been writing a lot and wanted a place to share my work.
Yet the type of stuff I was working on was pretty experimental in terms of writing as an art.
I guess what I really wanted was a place to share my creativity in a decentralized way.
My initial about page began talking about how I dropped acid at 16.
I saw a vision of paper humans in an interconnected chain surrounding the globe.
Sure, I guess that never really left me. But I don't think it's what belongs as the first sentence here.
Because what this website is not, is the hallucinated fantasy of some dumb high-school slacker.
This website is instead a testament to the amount of bullshit that the same slacker would put up with.
It's a testament to all the failures, all the successes, all the commitments, all the neglects.
It's a testament to the ability to acquire knowledge on your own terms instead of someone else's.
It's a testament to the fact that we are still here despite everything, even if it will never exactly get better.
It's a testament to the reality of motion and change. Because you can never 'escape' physics and math.
It's a testament to the endurance of the human spirit to survive through pure spite alone.
The most practical reason I built this site? It was to learn, because I love learning most of all.
I hope that by visiting this website you can maybe learn something about yourself, or others.
You might instead just learn that the admin (me) is a dumbass. But if I made you chuckle then it's worth everything.
Above all, this place is somewhat of my own personal agora that I choose to share with the world.
As time passes, I hope to cultivate this place into more of a community if fate permits me such a priviledge.
One last thing, this site is perpetually UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Don't be afraid to report bugs to the forum as a form of support! :)
